I live and work in Québec City. I studied at Université Laval’s school of visual arts and I finished my studies in 1973.

I started my artistic career with performance art from 1972 to 1975. I then continued with sculpture and paintings. For about 25 years, I have been mostly interested in sceneries and since 1992, in urban sceneries.

I had exhibits in Canada and abroad. I received grants from the Canadian and Québec Arts Councils. Many public collections own some of my paintings.

The main topics I work with are death, desolation, chaos, speed and energy. This comes together in pieces that are defined by ambiances or atmospheres that are often full of movement. The speed with which I paint has been a characteristic of my way of working for years. This action brings a certain spontaneity in the content of my paintings.
